Collection: FLEECE

Vintage fleece has earned its place as a staple  not just for warmth, but for style, longevity, and character. Pieces from the late 1980s through the 1990s hit a sweet spot: lightweight but insulating, soft yet hardwearing, and built long before sustainability became a marketing term. Today, vintage fleece sits comfortably between outdoor heritage and everyday streetwear.

At the centre of it all is Patagonia. The Synchilla Snap T is a true classic with it's practical and instantly recognisable chest pocket and contrast placket. The Retro X takes things further, with thick high pile fleece and a wind blocking lining.

The North Face also plays a major role. The Denali jacket, originally designed for mountaineers, crossed into everyday wear thanks to its clean shape, warmth, and signature nylon shoulder panels. North Face jackets work well layered into a city fit as it does for outdoor adventures.

For collectors, certain Patagonia fleeces are grail territory. The 1997 Thunder Glissade with its electric bolt graphics and reversible design  is one of the most sought-after fleece jackets ever made. Other rare prints like the Spiral and Bullseye pullovers, along with deep-pile standouts such as the Retro Rhythm Hoodie, are prized for their limited runs and unusual details. Early experimental pieces and USA-made geometric Synchilla prints from the early 90s are also highly valued, especially when the colours and fleece are still strong.

Beyond the big names, vintage fleece is loved for its personality. Animal prints, abstract graphics, bold colour blocking, and wavy 90s patterns capture an era when outdoor gear wasn’t afraid to be fun. Many lesser-known or one off pieces rival the classics for wearability and visual impact.
